Many software programs exist for programming the PICmicro and dsPIC in circuit. Three of the best which support most PICmicros and dsPICs are ICPROG, WINPIC800 and PICpgm.
They are ICPROG, WINPIC800 and PICpgm.
After downloading and installing the software, (either ICPROG, WINPIC800 or PICpgm) select the JDM programmer under hardware selection.
1. WINPIC800 - In the drop down window you will see that the devices supported by JDM programmer is limited but it is more than enough for most of the projects. The non supported ones are supported by the developer's own USB based programmer.
WINPIC800 is faster and has more features than ICPROG.
